"I would sooner destroy a stained-glass window as an artist like yourself."
-The Princess Bride (1987)
Carol's pick: Toy Story (1995) and Toy Story 2 (1999) - The second one's as good as the first. Eagerly anticipating the third installment in June.

Beauty and the Beast!
ReplyDelete2nd place: The Emperor's New Groove
Mr McGoo's A Christmas Carol
ReplyDeleteThe Emperor's new grove has to be the funniest, but i feel someone should stick up for the Lion King.
ReplyDelete*Beauty and the Beast* - Little Mermaid, this, Aladdin, and Lion King came out when I was just the right ages to enjoy them. This one is the standard, in my opinion, and Belle is the BEST of the Disney female leads.
ReplyDelete*Wall-E* - A great movie throughout, anyway, but I'd watch it just to get to the closing credits sequence.
*Shrek* - The original is exactly what a fractured fairy tale should be-- and I love fractured fairy tales. Didn't like Shrek 2 much, though, and haven't seen the third.
*Chicken Run* - Hilarious. Plus, I'm just enthralled by claymation.
